Maybe 2-3 hundred, less hopefully. And I really like having a good video card. Some of the newer race sims require dual core is the main reason for the new rig. And I could switch sides and go Intel.

Wow-looks like I'm going to need new memory too, I don't see any new mobos that take 184 pin RAM.

That looks nice! Thanks for your help. One question though.....would I be able to run 2 cards crossfire with that board at full performance? Or should I get maybe a different board so I have that option, or would I really not ever need 2 cards for racing?

That is my suggestion. The graphics card is open box. You really don't need it if you want to use onboard for a little while to save up for a better card, like a 5770. But a board like that will giv eyou the option for a phenom II or better and better ram too.

Thats a decent suggestion!

Don't get all wrapped up with crossfire/sli, heck lets get rid of that AGP first.
