This is the MCP655 without the variable speed controller built in correct? I got mine and there are 2 connectors, one for the 4pin molex, and the other is a 3pin connector (the same as fans) ...now I'm wondering, is that to control the speed output? Could I connect it to my fan controller and adjust the speed like that?

The blue fan cable is for RPM monitoring, you can plug it into a fan controller or your motherboard to monitor the Pump's RPM's. If you have a fan controller that can do >24W / Channel, you can rewire the Molex cable into a 3 pin fan cable and control it that way.
