I have heard about people doing it, but i dont know how. Its apparently much easier to do with vista though so you might be in luck if someone can get you the info.
Switch from IDE to AHCI mode?
Quick question. Is it possible to switch from IDE to AHCI mode in the BIOS without having to reload the OS? Just switching it causes an instant BSOD. Also, I have two additional drives for storage so how will they fare assuming I reformat the OS drive?
