System Froze then NO POST!

Guys, help me diagnose the problem:

My friend and me was trying to get PS2 Emulator to work, however it was lagging. Anyway i went into the kitchen to make dinner and he said the PC had froze while he was playing around with the settings. The mouse still moved etc, but nothing was loading so i said restart my computer.

After that it didn't post, so i removed my IDE HDD and still no-post, then i removed my DVD-RW and it posted. Recently my dvd-rw had been making ticking noises because i mounted it vertically for a few weeks until i realised that was bad for it.

Also, GPU is at stock, CPU is stable!

So here i am now.. Was it just my DVD-RW? Or could it be a PSU problem?

DVD...

Dunno wth about it caused your computer to act up like that, but meh.

My theory is it's the DVD-RW and my friend tried to boot from my disk drive which had a movie in it, and cause the system to crash?? Something like that i'm betting..

Well, I'll just have to see how it goes, if it crashes again it's my psu as it's a cheap one
