hi all can some one plz help me i have a big problem i have a pc with windows 7 64bit and i have 4gb ddr3 installed it was all going fine for a while but now something happened and i had to refresh the windows expeiriense index
and after that it now shows 3.5 gb usable i thought maybe it was the onboard graphics but the i 760 does not have a onboard gpu and i cany find were to disable onboard memory allocation if there is any any help plz would mean a lot!!!!

Check in the bios to see if memory hole is enabled.

To your question: Does it say 3.5 USABLE or just 3.5 there?
EDIT- just reread through your post says usable...have you recently installed any new programs or updated your bios?
I would check if you have memory hole enabled, Also have you changed anything in your bios lately?

or right thanks for the tip on the new members bit
but i fixed it it was in the system configoration i had to go system config/boot/
advanced options/set maximum memory to 0
