I'm still waiting for some decent battery powered W7 tablets, like the new Asus Eee Slate (but it only has 3hrs :S).

I know W7 is alot less optimised for tablets, but my dream is to have a full computer as a tablet and be able to all the programs I want. I don't want to be confined to an os that will be less supported over the years.

Man I need new battery tech.

Android? Less supported? I don't think so. Android will just grow into more and more devices, which would translate to more community support over time.

As I said, I can't wait for this to be available. The price looks so tempting.

It's $399 for the base model. You dont' get a keyboard and 16 hour battery life with the iPad 1

Same. I would LOVE to see an in action demo of this thing but im not going to listen to 60% of it being "Uhhh.....Asus Eee Slate Tablet...Uhhh...." to see it.

IPS display... I wouldn't have cared if they used something cheaper to bring down the price a bit. I guess since their competition is ipad, they found it necessary.

IPS on these devices is necessary, in my opinion.

Well, after trying this asus and ipad. I got asus transform 16gb
asus much more faster than ipad but the battery some how go down fast. I dont know because my screen or something but try to figure out.
other thing is watching movie, and email. It is not auto update mail, i dont know why
as i watch on netflix, after about 5 min, and under the screen, they have something crashing. or sub not working. It is not happen with my ipad 3g,
so any1 have same problem? and know how to fix it?
