HI, I have a Twin Frozr II heatsink on my MSI GTX 460 Hawk but recently one of the fans got so caught up that it stopped working properly. My question is that, while I wait for a replacement 70x10mm fan to ship, is it safe to duct tape a 80mm case fan onto the cooler? I've taken care not to let the tape touch any of the circuits if that makes a difference.

it would probably be ok , just watch your temps and make sure they dont get out of control.

Should be fine, but I'd use zip ties instead, they will hold better, duct tape will fall off.

preferably zip ties. i have the same situation but except i have it there zip-tied for almost a year and it hasn't fallen off yet.
