Has anyone noticed that Orthos/Prime95 puts a different workload than the TaT program? I run idle at 29C /30C. When i use Orthos it'll jump to 45C/46C. But when i use TaT with the 100% workload and 0% throttle on demand the temps jump to 55C/55C. Is that normal or do i got a gimp version of either program? And if it is normal. Which one is the real stress test if TaT puts on more workload? Thanks in advance.

Yeah TAT really loads them up, there is a thread around here explaining why.

as far as i understand TAT uses pretty much everything in the CPU where as Orthos uses maybe 70-90%, remember i'm taking about components, not amount of load.

as there are more components used more heat is produced, Orthos puts more strain on the cpu than you would get through normal use so thats why people use it.
