Logitech G9 Laser - Intro/Specs/Package

Quote:

Over the years, the Logitech brand name has become synonymous with HID devices for use on various platforms. They also made some high end products in the HID segment and have some of the best keyboard & mouse products on the market. The last gaming mice we came across from Logitech were the G5 and G7 and it has been around 2 years since. Recently, Logitech added to the line-up and we have with us today, the Logitech G9 Laser. We’ll judge how this rodent fares in general everyday and intense gaming use.

Responsiveness

* USB data format: 16 bits/axis

The G9 has been out for awhile (over a year now) unless I am missing something.

EDIT: Wait, now I am lost. It has the same name but it has a completely different look.

Yeah. I thought it was an updated version because it looked a little different and had a higher price tag. But go ahead and delete this if it is not.

This is the package, if it looks familiar then its old news.

That's the G9 without either of it's covers - (comfort XL & gaming)

Thanks for pointing that out, so it's just a G9.

Looks like the one I tried out in store today. Ugly and uncomfortable.

Yip, what you see at the back is the little slide out drawer to put weights in. Up to 28grams of additional weight. The comfort grip is uber comfortable and simply glides the gaming grip has extra grip a little rough though. A great mouse if you’re on the market for one prices have certainly dropped since launch logitek RRP £69.00.

I am pretty sure its the normal G9...

mine looks like that when i take the handles off of it. It comes with 2 that just snap on and off for quick interchanging.

also @ Blue Fire,

The G9 has alot of colours which its LED can change to. You can set different colour lights. Think there may be around 250 different shades of red, blue, yellow, green etc.
