They may be planned for a January 2010 launch but Intel's first 32nm desktop processors (codename Clarkdale), have already begun to appear even though, for now, only on pre-order via a German webstore. Detailed below, the five 32nn dual-cores listed go from 103.90 Euro up to 252.90 Euro, are all LGA 1156 parts and feature an integrated DX10 graphics core.

Really wouldn't mind a cheap Core i3. With the H57 chipset being introduced, you can make a very cheap gaming rig with these chips.

no doubt...bout time to upgrade the wife's rig...
I wonder if you can overclock the gpu..

They don't have the
Intel® Pentium® Processor G6950 Q3GT 2.80 GHz 133MHz 73W
listed..
Does anyone want to explain to me how the integrated graphics core works? I'm confused about that part. Do you need a Mobo with a integrated graphics port or something?
same question as Skylit btw that is from a magazine and doesnt tell anything we dont know
Based on what I have read you can drop Clarkdale into a P55 board but you just can't use the IGP. Having a board that is IGP capable is not a factor in using these chips.
lol @ 660 vs 661. Like an extra 166MHz graphics clock is going to help.

It must be doing something.. it's TDP is 14w higher than all the others

I dunno, I just don't see how those few extra MHz is going to help anyone. I mean, the only time you use Intel's IGP is when you don't need the performance, and if you do, then you get a discrete card anyway (even a cheap one).

Now, if they're going to surprise us by building these on Larabee or something then I don't know what'll happen. But if it's the same crap that they've been peddling for the last 15 years its useless.

I wonder how these will compare to equivalent priced AMD chips. Have any benchmarks been released yet?

Yeah...

So the IGP is on the chip itself or it's a part of the chipset? If it's on the chip itself, what if your mobo has no DVI port?

Also, I wonder if that will hamper overclocking performance.

It is integated into the chip.

I also want to know if these will work on a normal p55 board without using the graphics part?
