If yesterday's Radeon HD 4890 treats weren't enough then please note that yet another RV790 card has now been listed by a European store. Coming from PowerColor, the card features the reference design, with a red PCB, a dual-slot cooler and dual-DVI connectivity, 1GB of GDDR5 memory set to 3900 MHz and a GPU clocked at 850 MHz.

Still a couple of weeks away, the Radeon HD 4890 is priced at 260.59 Euro but hopefully, it will get cheaper upon release.

A bit pricey. I am expecting this to drop very quickly.
Ok enough of the pricing, let's see some benchmarks

So thats $336 US dollars? ouch.... If ATI is serious about that price then the benchmarks must have indeed been competitive with the GTX285.... somehow

look at prices for anything, in Europe comp parts are insanely expensive, this doesnt reflect prices in north america at all so calm down people
I would love to see some overclocks to over 1ghz on the core!

stock at 850mhz is impressive.

200-250USD doesn't sound pricey. It's freaken awesome. Even the HD4870 1Gb debuted at 299USD. That can be potentially a 100 dollar price drop of a better card within a year or each others release.
