Cooling specialists at Thermalright are preparing a little treat for those using one (or why not, two or three) GeForce GTX 200 series card(s), the HR-03 GTX VGA heatsink/cooler. Seen below, the upcoming cooler measures 133 (L) x 156 (W) x 38 (H) mm, weights 410 grams and has a copper base, six nickel-plated heatpipes and a quite beefy fin array ready to be backed up by one 92mm fan (not included), plus, it comes bundled with a PWN-IC heatsink.

From Thermalright's tests, the HR-03 GTX, equipped with an ADDA 92mm fan working at 2100 RPM, was able to lower the GeForce GTX 280's temps by up to 10 degrees Celsius when idle and 15 degrees when pumping lots of pretty pixels. Unfortunately, the HR-03 GTX's price or release date are unknown so patience is needed.

Doesn't really seem like a good drop in temps unless they were pretty low to start.

is that enough heatpipes, or is more not possible without stacking them above other hp's?
