Well, I can only fold on this comp, so its a max of one core for me.

Someone said that the max cores per team can be up to 8 in all. you have 1 core, so that leaves the rest of the team 7. I can definately do 2, but can do 3 if needed. How we gonna divide it up?

yeah well its also 3 max per person. So basically just everyone do as many cores as they can cuase we already know ill only be doing one (but ill make up for that fact cause my comp is decent and its folding most of the time).

UP, your PM box is full, so I'll respond here. You guys are all set to go. I'll update your postbit info in the next couple of days, and your team will appear on the next score update.

Welcome aboard.

Go back and read the instructions on the check in thread. You just posted in there today, so there's no physical way you can get your folding postbit info that quickly. Just be patient; all good things come in time.

Getting your postbit info is completely separate from the team scoring as that comes directly from Stanford's site. All of the points you have accumulated in a given month will count as long as you use the same folding name.

Woot! I'm going on vacation June 18-29, so I am going to leave my gaming rig folding the whole time instead of the old Dell. I'll still have 2 core's going...just changing up computers. Will that be okay, or will it just mess everything up?

It should be fine.

And you guys, I finally got my cog! Also, I have my laptop set up for folding 24/7!! Yess!
So now I will be raking in the points too. I think we will still place decently in this competition even though we are the part timers !

lol, I have my Dell xps laptop folding...I think folding messed it up a while back though...well not folding in particular, but one of the memory slots won't work on the mobo...probably overheated and shorted out, but I'm gonna have to get a new motherboard soon...tired of running only 512mb when it should be doing 1 gig.

Yeah, everything looks good already for us

I think my laptop is plowing through 2-3 Wu's a day since it's only using one core now...My dell desktop, however, is probably getting through one WU every two days, lol.

Guys, I gotta drop off the team because my computers are making the electric bill go up too much. My desktop alone uses 350 watts or so folding, and my laptop is using almost 140 watts....and I also had to buy a window air conditioner for my room b/c of the heat my computers were putting out. It was fun for the month tho! Cyas later.

lmao, guess the team is gone. Folding is for people who have enough money to pay for the energy cost of the computers and the air conditioner(s) keeping them (and you) cool.
