Seems a little high but anything below 50*C at load is fine (of course, lower is always better). I personally prefer to keep mine at 40-45*C. Are you running stock voltages? What kind of cooling do you have on it?

Get a TT Big Typhoon... the fan is not all that great but good.
A better fan and it will keep you cool

would the big typhoon fit in my motherboard fine? i hear its pretty dang big and can be a beast to install.

what about the zalman 7700? anybody got an opinion about it?

oh and melcar, yea, im just using stock voltage....i think 1.5

The typhoon is fine for your 3700+. The zalman 7700 doesn't cool nearly as well. i gave my venice 1.8v and it never went above 45*C.

Don't worry about it fitting the mobo - worry about the case. I will fit in most standard ATX cases.
