Sup all!

I noticed my temps increasing alot since my last prime95 test.
I could swear they were alot lower, more into the 60s.. but whenever i try to prime95 now, they seem to be very high for some reaosn...

One core is hitting 90 almost. ( 88 ).

First time i prime'd they were near the range of 60-70.

But this could be because, i used different prime95 settings aswell, i used small FFT settings, i could've used another custom setting the first time i did the prime test, ( hence why the lower temps )

But are these temps safe? should i let it run for a good night?

Thanks

Edit , Vcore is 1.3

You don't want to run any of the later Prime95 versions (anything with AVX2) on that chip at a vcore that high regardless of temperatures since the CPU will draw an enormous amount of power. Unless you use applications that make use of that instruction set, use a stress test program that doesn't test for it. If you do run AVX2 software, then you will need to settle for a lower overclock at a lower voltage to be safe.

There's a ~10*c diffrence on my 5930k between small fft and large. small fft runs hotter.

I've seen peak power draw of over 170w on HW monitor:eek:
