Hey guys, I know I always see these threads around here but I just wanted to see if anybody else had some more input.
Anyways I just put my WC setup together, it comprises of a EK supreme HF, a EK fullcover waterblock for my 580, a MCP355 pump + XSPC acrylic top, primochill UV green tubing, 2 Black Ice 240 GTX rads with R4's in push, and a XSPC single bay reservoir.
Anyways the temps I'm getting at stock are about 49-50 degrees celsius under load and 32 at idle. Are these temps too high for stock? I've reseated the cpu once using the rice grain method. I'm just worried that the temps are going to shoot up into the high 70s once I push this thing to 4 gHz. I cleaned the rads out prior to installation with warm water and I had shin etsu g751 for the paste but I replaced it with AS5 because I had used the shin etsu on other things and ran out
. Would using AS5 versus shin etsu cause a large difference in temps? I know most people top out at like 65 degrees which is why I'm sort of worried.
