i was just wondering if you can run an extra phisx card if you already have two/three card in cf or sli? Will you see an improvment in games that require large abouts of phisx?

for example
if you have 3 580s in sli and had a fourth card a, 570 or 560, just for phisx will i see an improve in performance?

To be frank you can not dedicate a card I believe to handle tessellation geometry calculations, like you can with forcing PhysX on a single GPU. Also don't ever consider getting a fourth card for SLI/CFX setups, as scaling is horrible and the cards will heat up faster than you can say well "heat up"....

okay thanks that helps a lot!
As far as I know the only technology that allows for a single GPU to be dedicated to a rendering task is PhsyX
well i ment to say phisX
