CD/DVD drive is one I have our of a now dead computer I already have one why get another?

And to power this monster

Looks good.. I'd go for the OCZ Gold instead though, and save some $20-40.. the "Intel Core i7" label is just mostly for show off to boost sales..

Whitch motherboard are you thinking about?

And if you can afford the extra bucks.. go liquid, it's fun, silent, dustfree and addictive!

The Apollo was my first aftermarket case. It's a bit small, so make sure the card will fit.

please whatever you do do not get an OCZ PSU, i went through 2 of them both made a constant horrible high pitch sound and the second one fried my mobo! (steathxstream).

Also I think 1.5TBHDD and 6GB RAM is a little overkill

XFX X58i Motherboard

I like everything to match. ocd lolz

Go for a Corsair power supply for shure. 850TX is a nice one... Know it's nice when stuff matches, but you would want it to stay working for some time also!

I'd also look for a somewhat bigger case if you're thinking of going watercooled..

i hear bad things about this case. Bad cable management and bad airflow. DON'T GET THAT CASE !
the Apollo has Crap CPU ventilation. i had to do a case mod on mine.

Simple.

Here is a Link to my thread on the mod to get better CPU airflow

Get the Corsair 850 Watt and why are you buying at tiger? You will probably save more at Newegg plus get better shipping rates/service. If your going to watercool, check out the Coolermaster HAF. Its a solid case and it looks good.

Exactly the power supply from www.provantage.com i posted is corsair and is cheaper and the same amount of watts to. No reason to stick with tigerdirect
The Half or Cosmos S are great for water cooling.

Why such slow speed memory? Defeats the point of DDR3...
for a high end case, get a lian li. i would prefer you get a lian li pc-v2000 or lian li pc-p80 than your steel/plastic case
If you go liquid, go HAF. Frankly, I never understood why people could buy such high end cases when it really doesn't do anything for performance.

I went with HAF because it's got great cable management and predrilled locations for triple rad up top. I also was able to mount a single rad on the bottom with a triple on top , but I have a smaller psu which leaves me with enough room.

It doesn't get any better than this for the price. Air cooling is also great in this case. I was lucky enough to find a local deal from a forum for $115 pick up. Now that I own one, I would have gladly paid full price and more for it.
Ok I updated a lot of parts, Check my sig.

I am also now ordering from newegg
.

if you plan on staying air you should go with a case like the HAF 932, or similar. btw what mobo are you planing on? btw is this strictly for gaming? do you have to have all that space on your HDD... i've heard bad things about it and for gaming/vista a 10k can be had for around the same price.... nice build overall though.
As already suggested, look into a different case and PSU. Maybe a Corsair TX850 to cover a GTX285 SLI. And a cooler master HAF/Sniper or Antec 1200.
