75c is pretty normal for a GPU under load. You try bumping up the fan speed?
Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev.2 + ziptied fan would be a great choice... only $30 too

Also, the thermaltake Duo-Orb is a great choice, though slightly louder

Duorb is a very good choice. Cheap, fairly easy to install, and pretty blue LED's.

My 8800GT went from 90 degrees @ load to about 60.
I had DuOrbs on my GT's. Around a 43c idle and 55c max load.
Use RivaTuner (free) and create 3 fan profiles that will automatically speed-up the GPU fan, at for instance 60%-80%-100%, depending on temperature rise due to intensive 3D gaming and save yourself some time and money!

I recommend this for everyone, and should be considered as part of any overclocking template which will help with increased temps!

You can download latest RivaTuner and get FAQs here;

http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=rivatuner

You can read a step by step Fan Profile Set-Up Guide, complete with pics here;

http://www.vaguetech.com/index.php?pageid=rt207#fan

Note that you need RivaTuner to be running in the background to have the Fan Profiles working. RivaTuner needs to be running under the Scheduler Tab (to launch the profiles). You can minimize the RivaTuner window to tray by ticking the appropriate box in the Settings Tab.

Get a TT Duorb! They are really good. My 8800GT idles at 37c and 47c on load.
Applied with Arctic Silver 5.

i have rivatuner and evga precision ,and don't matter which program i use , it goes above 75 and computer crash ,right now i have a house fan blowing air to it, but it take too much space, and i put 120mm fan with 70cmf in the case to stop this they didnt help ,the case is a ULTRA ALUMINUS i think thats the name is a full tower case

I have two of those running in SLI. The cards are not only being fanned by RivaTuner, but they are also overclocked by RivaTuner. Those cards create a lot of heat, but RivaTuner seems able to keep them in the 60'sC for the most part at Load. They'll hit in the low end of the 70's on occassion.

My trick is to keep the side panel off my Cosmos 1000.

Your card may be too aggressively overclocked, for you to need a house fan trained on the card along with RivaTuner pumping your fan at 100%.

I will be modding the side panel by drilling holes, facing the GPUs, to allow a 120mm fan to directly exaust heat generated by the GPUs right out of the case. Your problem is to be expected and I recommend perhaps a slight underclock of the GPU coupled with a side panel fan mod!

i have a feeling the the stock cooler is going

I have my duorbs on my 8800GTs and never go above 60C, just put a 120mm sidefan on and lowered temps another 5C. Just do NOT put 2 duorbs on one fan controller channel. I did and it worked for a few weeks, but I just walked in and my GPU fans were off. I think I may have burned that channel. One duorb per channel should be OK. On the bright side, duorbs with no fan only reached 64C on idle
That was before I put the sidefan on, blowing onto them.
