can anyone tell what the best cpu use for OCing???
If you have had success OCing please give me your system info. I would like to build my computer to your specs.

lol... If your looking for a great gaming rig go AMD. (Mobiles will OC alot and give superior performance in games, Intel beats it in some things.. Just not games)

Since you aren't willing to wait for a 939 system. Do yourself a favor and save as much $$ as you can.

Get a 2400/2500+ mobile.
The $50 shuttle an35n-ultra board
and then just get a huge heatsink. If you want to use it on your next a64 system get a pipe101, if you don't care get a thermalright si-97. The fan choice is up to you depending if you like your system quiet, or if it doesnt matter if it sounds like a jet.

Thats what 140+ 50/60 for hsf = $200 for a new system capable of at least 2.3ghz. If you get the 2500+ it might to 2.5ghz on air.

O ya buy ram that you can carry over to the next system...Gotta look ahead.

Puh, If you just looking for a chip to overclock, buy a Celeron 2.4and overclock it like mad, lol.
If your going for gaming and what not, but an AMD 64 3400+.
