Is it just me or does there seem to be an outrageous number of SSD fundamentalists out there. Every time I check out someones build thread, the first piece of advice that usually pops up is on getting an SSD. I've actually begun to question getting one myself
. I'm not trying to group all SSD'ers into one category, but there are a few fanatics out there that it seems would recommend you get an SSD before even getting a processor
. Don't change though, it makes for fun reading

It's the single largest 'seat of the pants' upgrade you can do for every way you use your PC.

You really have no idea how enormous the difference is until you've used one for any extended period of time and then have to use a computer with a mechanical HDD in it..

I agree with Beers completely. Seriously, it's a night & day difference between SSD's & HDD's. I've been using them since the 1st gen. Vertex series, and the only downside to them is when working on someones system besides your own. It will leave you a bit...shall we say? Frustrated at how clunky & slow an HDD is.

Yeah, people are fanatical at times about them around here. Honestly though, there is good reasons behind the fanaticism.
