So i have owned my 650D for almost a year and before that i owned alienware.(yea yea i know alot of you hate alienware). I built this because i didnt want to pay double for something that wasnt top of the line by dell... Tho i do miss the cosmetic side of alienware. So this is my first time doing anything like this and I am sure there will be mistakes and changes along the way. Welcome to my case mod called the "Hive". First thing i am trying to do is build an enclosement to cover the psu and hdd's. Here are some pics

The only problem i had with this was the plexiglass is really flimsy and not very sturdy. So back to the drawing board

Here is the solution i came up with

So now i am painting it and waiting on some red vinyl decals to come in the mail.

Here is my design to replace the mesh filter in front that dwood is making for me. Its a solid piece with the designs cut out for the airflow. Looking forward to getting that piece

Mostly its all in my head, besides the front mesh grill being replace i have another piece going up top to cover the honeycomb design by corsair. It will have the same design as the one on the front that dwood is making. I am thinking of changing pumps and res but that will come later. Also i will be modding the side panel to make it bigger and adding some frosted effects

So went to home depot today and bought some lexan, went through all the pieces to see which had the best protection film on it ( meaning no scratches) but low and behold when i pulled the protective coating off 2 nice scratches right in the middle.. any ideas how to get them out?

Still need to repaint the panel at some point and order some more screws...
