I dunno what to call it. I thought "The Mission Clocks" sounded cool.
Anyways have any of you had the problem where for some reason a certain clock speed wasn't stable, but clock speeds right after were stable?

I was just messing around with my card and I thought that I could only hit 1180 as my highest mem clock. Turns out, 1190 is unstable, but 1191 is stable. I am currently at 1270 right now...
So,
1180 = stable
1190 = unstable
1191 = stable

I dunno. This happened to me on my 4890 as well.

On my 4870 x2, 830 was unstable, but 835 was. never figured that one out.

In FSB and other things motherboard that have issues with certain clock settings it's called a "FSB hole". It would seem that there are 'memory holes' too... not to be confused with the memory remapping in BIOS for recognition of more than 3gb of ram back in the day.

My 5870 is the same case. At 1010 core it will not run no matter what. At 1015 everything is fine...
