The new guy.

Just realized I haven't introduced myself yet even though I've only been registered for a couple of weeks now and 69 posts at the moment.

I've never purchased a pre-built system and never attempted to overclock. But recently I had to replace my my socket 939 motherboard (cheap ECS piece of crap with a failure of a support :swearing: ). I went with an AM2 for upgradeability and found a great cpu/ram combo deal for really cheap (like $45 for both). As you can see from the sig rig... it's not a satisfying speed. I felt confidence that I won't suffer a great loss if I fry my CPU, therefore signed up to the OCN (mostly because of durch's great overclocking guide) and learned how to OC my cpu from 2.1 GHz to 2.95 GHz and still learning more.

I hope to get a dual core someday and keep learning more so that I may pass on my knowledge to more new folks!
