Greetings.

So since the release of the GTX Titan, google is flooded with search results bassicaly saying that the GTX Titan is the 780... which is total nonsense. its now a PITA to try find any possible details about the 780 when every1 is calling the Titan a 780 >.<

I was eagerly awaiting for March to hear about the GTX 780, as im waiting to get one around the time of my own Birthday, only to be disapointed when the GTX Titan releases instead at the end of Feb, and to top it of it comes with performance totaly not worth its price tag.

My oldman is hitting the big 50 in june and i was gunna build him a nice rig and upgrade my GPU (also my Case and Mouse )at the same time..atm release dates for CPU's and GPU's now seem to be getting later and later in the year >.<

So ...has any1 read anything about the real 700 series(and/or AMD 8000 series) release times or even possible performance ?

There really isn't much information other than the 8000 and 700 series' will be coming out Q4 2013/Q1 2014. Performance will be better than the current generation, nothing else can be said

Since when were they pushed back so far ?
For last couple months all i've heared is somtime between march and June. I honestly cant see them waiting till 2014..thats way to long a gap between the release of the 600 series. Its not like there arnt games that could use the 700 series. Even now there are plenty of games that requir more than 1 of the top end GPU's, some more than 2, to play at max settings without droping below 60 fps.

AMD have already stated the first lot of 8000 retail cards will start being sold at the end of this year, they haven't been any more specific than that. I'm sure Nvidia will release around that time too because that's normally the trend.
