I just wanna know who is actually going to be purchasing the Core i7 when it launches.

Last night I purchased an asus p6t deluxe
and pre-ordered a 920 from tank guys
still deciding on the ram

So who is gonna be jumping on the boat right off the bat??

I know I am.

I don't see any advantage of getting Corei7 over my current quad.
I will wait until it gets cheaper and gets a better price/performance ratio.

I've ordered the 920 and p6t from tankguys, and a 6gig kit from newegg.

I will be getting one when I can couple it with Windows 7, and can afford to build a new rig from the ground up. I have to wait til prices come down.

I would, but I don't have $1,000 to blow at the moment on 6GB of DDR3, an i7 920, and a P6T Deluxe.

And if I do upgrade to i7, I'll force myself to get a CM690 and a 750TX, so tack on another $200.

Currently I don't see any point in upgrading. My rig is plenty powerful for what I use it for. I will probably wait until next summer for any upgrade.

I'm going to be picking one up 920 probably a Asus 6T Deluxe and 6GB DDR3. I have been waiting to build my first pc so I decided I might as well go with Core i7 since i'm buying everything from scratch.

Get a 4870X2 and you'll hit close to 25,000 depending on your CPU.
