Hi all,

I am trying to figure out which would be the best cooler for my I7 920 CPU. I have plenty of room in my sniper case, and I dont expect any issues from my ASUS P6T6 motherboard.

The two cpu coolers I am looking at are as follows:

Thermalright Ultra-120 extreme cpu cooler
Coolermaster V8 Rifle cpu cooler

Both are pretty much the same price and look the same to me. If anyone has some experience with them, that would be great.

well the true is a classic and everyone uses it for a reason, i don't have one but one of my friends does and he never shuts up about it (well didn't for a while) but yes the TRUE is very good. i have never seen much about the rifle. but ill stick to what i know is good and thats the true.

TRUE would beat it, especially lapped. Not sure by how much unlapped, but lapped maybe 4-6C on an overclocked 920.

The TRUE should beat the V8 easily. But i have always wanted to see someone try to slap another two fans on the V8 to make it a Push -> Push -> Pull for fun.
