Thinking about going ATi

Going to be getting a UD3P here in the next week or so hopefully and will be selling my gtx 260. I don't game as much as I would like to so something small is what I'm interested in. From reviews, the 4830 seems to poo on the green competition which interests me greatly. How well do 4830's perform together? I'd like to XF sometime down the road so cards that scale well should take priority. Thanks mates

They are very good, better than one 4870 I have heard.

Which is better than a GTX 260.

If you get both 4830's OCed, you may be able to match a GTX 280 performance

I thought I read somewhere that two 4830's performed the same as one 280? Or was that two 4850's...

Probably two 4850's but the 4830's would be awesome too.

Or if you wanted a single card a 4850x2 would kick butt too.

No,lol. After fighting the 9800gx2, I'll never go back to a dual gpu card. But I'm willing to try a dual card setup hehe. The reason the 4830's appeal to me is because of the single 6pin power connector.

4830's is a decent set-up. I almost got that instead of the 4870. Great performance for the money.
To each his own, I love dual GPU cards, get 4830's.
