Thinking of doing some customizations to a server

Hi,

I've just bought a Tyan Transport GT24, and it came with an AMD Opteron 2216 2.4GHz CPU. As I've got a limited budget, I have two options:
  • Buy a second 2216
  • Sell the 2216 and buy a single quad core AMD
This server will be running multiple applications at the same time.

Which would you suggest? If you suggest the latter, could you recommend a good CPU?

i would buy a second core maybe even a 2214 since you can overclock it past 1220
