For the following reasons:

1. Cool Factor
2. Less noisy?

what do you guys think?

Honestly I think that your Megahalem will be just as good--just stick with it. you would be side-grading. the h50 does look pretty awesome, but mine was a definite upgrade though so my situation was different

also, it would be just as loud because you would still need to have a push/pull fan configuration in order for it to be as effective as it can be
Just recieived a new case and I'm going to be replacing my Mega with the H50 tommorow. While I'm aware that the cooling may not be quite as good, the noise factor applies (not sure why, must be getting old). Plus the Mega is in dire need of a good "under-the-faucet" cleaning

id grab a h50 over a mega any day. reasons: support in english language, us based, pricing fits the bill, no need for loud fans to achieve decent temps.

my 2 cents
i have a h50, had a mega and (THE MEGA) it sucked butt @ non Air Conditioned pc room

Definitely not worth it. Your going from like the best air cooler to a cheapo closed loop system. It will perform at par with your current setup. It would be a waste of money.

what type of fans do you have on your megahalem?
if your worried about noise i suggest a scythe flex fan [1900rpm]
they're a little pricey but they are pretty much silent and push alot of air.
Mega does not need fast fans to perform well.

1. Totally subjective so that's up to you

2. Not really, you're going to want a push-pull with fans that have good static pressure on that rad, so actually it could be louder than a Megahalem setup.

DOWNGRADE, the mega is a BA piece of hardware with the chrome or chrome black... I say save ur money for the next beast that comes out to top the chart, not some low end water cooling system.
I could have sworn that the H50 will be more useful in compact enclosures that don't have as much air coming in and out (like a mATX build which makes the H50 a great choice).
No not really needs a lot of good airflow to perform well. If you have it blowing into the case, you better have good fans to pull out the heat or your case is going to be one hot place.
ALOT of people dissing mega in an AIR cooling forum. I for one think the mega looks downright sexy in a case and it does cool better. KevinBmx has a very nice case with good cable management and he has a delta fan on his h50 and said he gets linux temps in the 80s. I say keep the mega and fight the wave thats sweeping all these people into turning on the mega and getting the h50.
As long as something is good, there will be people to hate it.
