This guy has a watercooling obsession

I don't know if this has been posted(I looked) but I was browsing the web and stumbled up upon an evil genius:

This guy MADE his own radiator FROM a radiator lol. And don't get me started on the 100% HOMEMADE waterblocks for EVERYTHING.

EDIT: it's kind of an old post but I had to share it none-the-less

Goodness. Dr. Frankenstein strikes again. I am expecting the hoses to throb with pulse. I can't sleep at night just thinking about all the potential places for leaks. But apparently the good doctor has it under control.
Mad restriction! None-the-less, hard work went into that.
What the heck...

He'd get better temps with a lot less tubing if he just ran a single loop...

And what's he got under the hood? An AM2 processor and a 3870x2 paired with some generic RAM?

Well this guy used his swimming pool as a reservoir to cool his PC setup:

Yeah I've read the post on the first one before and found it really interesting. The pool one I've never seen before but it's definitely interesting.
Thats a lot of work! Its one of a kind no doubt.
I'd bet that it performs like crap, but you have to give him props for the work it took.
haha that is crazy...=) on a positive note=)
Talk bout extreme now. He w/c almost every small chip on that GPU.

Am I reading the right thread? I didn't see anybody sig that.

[EDIT]
Okay, I see, you meant that your post from another thread was sigged

End Pointless Code

And in response to that WC setup, he done it for anesthetics. There are many hoses that are unnecessary. I bet I could get better cooling from a simple, single loop setup with a lonely 360 rad. Most of the water blocks were totally pointless.

Coolness 8/10
Effectiveness 2/10

If executed properly, a similar design could be used for a totally fanless system using a fanless bong chiller or crazy/environmental cooling (e.g. surface geothermal, outdoor reservoirs, swamp cooling or outdoor bong, etc.). If successful it could mean a near silent, well-cooled rig! The possibilities for 100% WC systems are good, this implementation is just not practical.
