Does anyone have any experience with this CPU heatsink???

I was thinking about using this on an E8400 in a mini-itx gaming build with a 40CFM fan and I have been reading that this heatsink is actually really good at cooling. The newer version of this has screws and not puch-pins btw...

id just get a stock 65nm quad core heatsink
I plan on overclocking it and The case is a mini-ITX case where there isn't very much room but I am modding it for better ventilation. I have read that this is significantly better than the stock cooler with the right 80mm fan.
I'd get something with heatpipes/fins. I haven't seen a review of that one but it's missing surface area.

Where did you see they performed well?

Well, it performs well as a low profile heatsink with an 80mm fan on it

Those reviews are old and the temps aren't uber amazing but for a heatsink that is the size of the stock intel heatsink, you gotta admit that it could be good for OC'ing a dual core for a mini-ITX HTPC.

All from 2004-2006 though. Some good budget/low-profile coolers have come out since then.

Bump

Well, I just bought this badboy off of xoxide for $20 for a small FF PC my buddy is making.

I will do some testing and post my results when I get the cooler.
I'm sure it will do better than stock cooling

It's base looks really good too
