TIM Curing

I bought an E8400 from a friend and i'll use a new cooler on it, i wanna test it with intel burn test if it has any defects. is it advisable to stress it right away or wait for the TIM to cure?

I have stressed within minutes of applying TIM that required a burn-in/curing period.

If there is something wrong, you will know immediately. Besides, the drop in temps is generally 2-3C (sometimes a little more), so that factor (burn-time) should not limit you.
