Someone tel me how to properly spread TIM on the 1283, since im not sure. Pics would be nice +REP!

There was a thread a while ago... Basically, you fill in the gaps with TIM, scrape it flat with a credit card, then apply TIM like it was a regular flat-bottomed HS.

I use a small flathead to spread the TIM around personally. Just make sure its a thin layer and its spread evenly.

so just spread it along the aluminium.. not the copper, and press it down?
