I lost a DIMM slot on my P6X58D-Premium yesterday and while checking the CPU pins I managed to drop my light and annihilate a good number of them. Time for a new board then...
I like Asus personally and loved what the Premium had to offer but before I replace it with another one I'm curious to hear what you think of the alternatives. Check the poll above for what I'd consider.
Also note:
Before I lost the DIMM slot I was stable 191x21 (4GHz) at 1.22v using the Premium. Northbridge never got past low 40's either.
And before I go:
I use a Xonar DX so I need a PCIe x1 that will allow for the long'ish sound card.
