Now me and this case go back... waaay back.

In 2003 (I was almost 12)I was asking my dad can we build a computer together?

Quote:
Yeah, we can, I'll get us a case so we can start looking for components.

So a few days later he brings home this big ol' box. The antec lanboy enters my life. Long story short, it took us like 3 months to build the computer (he was busy and I just liked looking at the parts, also had no idea what to do)

I loved how light the case was, I could lift it up and bring it wherever we went. I even brought it to Thanksgiving dinner that year haha.

So when it was built, none of the fan ports had fans in them, up until 2008 it didn't have fans lol.

I just love this case. Its been through:
  • I modded the window (had to buy another lanboy on ebay just for the side panel!!! haha
  • I sold it to a friend, then we traded cases and it returned to me.
  • years of use

Its amazing that how fast the computer industry changes, I still have this case.

Thank you Antec, for starting my computer lifestyle and for building the case that has stood up to 8 different builds over the years.

That truely was a great case. That was the first case I was ever really happy with. Before the Lanboy I was using those crappy generic cases (my own choice) because I couldn't find anything that I really, really liked. Plus the fact that at the time, the Thermaltake Tsunami's and cases of the like were very expensive. I picked my Lanboy up at CompUSA of all places one day because they had it on sale for like 50$.

From that moment on I loved that case. It was so light and easy to move. The side panel showed off all the glory of my Abit AW8-Max and X850XT. It ended up going to one of my friends who still uses it to this day.
Nice. My sig case has been around since 2002. It's seen the gauntlet of components.
