Well, I would say the GTX295 anything else would not be much of an upgrade.
3-SLI with the 260 would be crazy nice. But also a lot of money.
well i can pick up evga 260 192 scc for 180 a piece not too bad
go with 3 gtx 285 and unleash the power fo your mobo.
can't afford 3x285's at least i'll get one now and then maybe one every month from now
What resolution do you game at? No sense in buying too much if it won't be used.

Don't hold it back like me =)~

From what I hear, the GX2 would handle the games that I play beautifully, though i think just too much power consumption for me
i game at 1920x1200
If I was going to move away from my 9800GX2, it would be to the GTX 285 or GTX 295. Anything else, unless SLIing them is not an upgrade.

option 2.

i'd go with option one: buy a new card each month - that way you'll feel like you're upgrading more and more

Is the performance increase with a third card that big for 1920x1200? Why not just get 2x GTX 285s and wait until SLI scales better and games get really demanding, in which case you can pick up a third?
above ppost HUH?
p6t doesnt support tri-sli so people should probably stop recommending that.

285 sli will run anything maxed. So i would go that way,
serious NO TRY SLi in my board!?!?!

Seriously...no tri-sli on that board. If you must have overkill get a pair of
GTX 295's or a pair of 4870x2's.
