Ok i am honestly tired of the noise and heat that my system puts out and I want to go liquid cooling. I dont know much but I have always heard people say get Danger Den. I also read that Bitspower.

My Computer is a LGA775 mobo (Gigabyte UD3P) Intel Q6600 @3.8GHz (Cooled with a TURE w/ Scythe Ultra Kazi 120mm 3K), and a GTX295 DUAL PCB. my case is the Silverstone Raven RV01

so I was wondering if anyone of you could spec me the blocks and stuff i need. As it stands I am not sure I want to do the chipset or memory. Even some advice would be nice if anyone has done Liquid Cooling in the RV-01 case.

There's a lot of companies that make decent blocks - EK, BitsPower, XSPC, etc.

That being said, I don't think you really need to cool the chipset/memory. It's kinda a waste unless you're going for max overclocks IMO.

This is a good place to start your watercooling, as it has everything you need for a CPU loop. If you want to throw in your GPU too, you might have trouble finding a block for the 295 Dual PCB. You could go with a universal block and buy some heatsinks for the other parts not covered.

There are DangerDen blocks for the dual pcb at frozencpu and performace pcs. There might be others, but these are the only ones I found.

Two of the ones in the first link are for single PCB. The second link, not exactly sure whether or not those are for dual pcb's as it's not stated.

I have dual PCB 295GTX. My card used to be really loud until I took it apart and re-did thermal paste as well as cleaned with 95% alcohol. Temps now atay cool enough to keep fan from hitting 100% fan speed. Give your card a good thurough cleaning and new thermal paste.

Note: Taking apart a dual PCB 295GTX is a pain in the butt.

Yea i was planning on doing that sometime this week, But I have been wanting to go Liquid for a while.

So far i have looked at alot of the links for water cooling and this is what i have come up with

CPU Block: Danger Den DD MC-TDX
or EK Full Copper, or Full Copper Nickle Plated, or the Nickle
GPU Block : Danger Den DD-GTX295 (Dual PCB version)
Pump: Swiftech MCP 355
Resivour: XSPC Acrylic Dual 5.25in One Lane DDC or Two Lane DDC (Dont know which would be better for doing just my CPU (Overclocked) and GPU (Maybe Overclocked) but i assume the two lane DDC would be best with the MCP355
Radiator: XSPC RX360 (Hanging on the outside)

What i still dont know
Tubes... what size would be best
Fittings and stuff
Fans.... well i do have 2 Scythe Ultra Kazy 3K (but dang their loud)

Just get the Rasa RX360 kit, and then buy a GPU block.
The pump with the Rasa kit is pretty good, and you can always replace it.

The tubing size you want is either 1/2in ID or 7/16in ID, both with 1/2in barbs. the 7/16in ID tubing just fits tight so that you don't need clamps.

i don't know about the DD block for the GTX295, but i do know that the AquaGrafX has awesome temps

my GTX295 is now idling at 32c and stresses around 48c

so the watercooling is really worth it.

If you really want to get wet, go for it. But for the amount of money you'll have to put in (Water Loop + GPU Block + good fans) you might as well just try and get a new card or cards that will outdo yours at lower noise and sell your 295 forward. I don't mean to thread bash, just though this might be better off for you, unless you really just want to get wet.

This. A budget loop for 1 gpu and 1 CPU will be ~400$. I spent more like 1K for SLI and bling.'

I would say invest in more recent hardware and then save for a XSPC Rasa kit, then add a GPU block for whatever card you decide on.

Well I do want to go through with this Watercooling project. I have already considered the idea of getting a new GPU But well I did spend $500 on this card. I does 3 Displays and I honestly dont care for DX11 yet (YET) so I do appreciate that imput.

If you don't want to cool the cpu, you could go with something like the Rasa RX240 kit and get the water block for the GPU.

if you want to cool both the cpu and gpu's you could go with the RX360 kit and get the block for your card. that would cool it and it would be much quieter.

If you look for deals and used parts you can have a gpu loop for easy under $200

Get the RX360 Rasa kit for a CPU loop, and that way you can upgrade your video card later if you want or throw it into the loop.

pretty simple to me. also you will need something for biocide. I just use a silver kill coil.
I would also recommend getting new tubing, because the tubing with the kit isn't the greatest, it works, but just clouds up really fast.
I am pretty sure that block doesn't come with fittings, so just get some 1/2in fittings for it.
