by the time starcraft 2 releases the graphics will look kind of outdated imo
I recently had the opportunity to sit down for a 30 minute interview with StarCraft II Game Director, Dustin Browder. The man needs no introduction - especially to a community of gamers who spend so much time discussing the decisions he and the SC2 development team have made. Dustin gave some really great and detailed answers and it was a pleasure talking with him. |

I have to ask quickly about the beta â€" there had been hints that it would be coming in the first few months of 2010. |

Also, Blizzard stated they are working on a pseudo-LAN system where users would connect to Battle.net to authenticate, then a peer 2 peer connection would be established, allowing for low latency pings. The higher price? Well that could be justified by how much content we get at launch. Yeah, it sucks that they split up the three campaigns into separate products, but judging by this extended delay, they may actually make it worth our penny. We will see. (I believe they said there will be 30 missions per race). |
