MY Leadtek PX9600GT ran at 765c-950m stable. Just make sure that you have the core and shader clocks linked!

You don't have to have the core and shader linked.

You can prbly push the core to around 770. The shader to 1950 or 2000 and your memory to 1000 or 1053.

These cards run very cool until you start increasing voltage.

like he said, its stable till ur temps are getting close to 80*C and when u get artifacts in games or run a synthetic tester for artifacts

my 9800GT wont clock that high, lol. i lost stability at 750 core. i dont think im gonna play with voltages, the card does anything i want, i just OCed it for fun. my temps are not bad since i have the akimbo dual slot cooler and i crank the fan to 100% sometimes. its at 80% normally

needs more volts if you hit a wall with good temps... try a volt mod or something, and you should quite a bit higher...

Agreed, your card prbly has a 1.1v VID. You could do a VID mod to 1.15v or 1.20v. The 1.20v will generate a good bit of heat with the single slot cooler.
