i have an iCute gamers case http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=90997 in which i have 9 (yes, 9!) 80mm fans

i have two 4-fan fan controllers and on max rpm (2400rpm) i get 39 idle and 53 load temperatures

i have a zalman cnps9500 cpu cooler. do you think the number of fans is necesary? its a very loud rig and was wondering if i could get rid of some fans and not affect temps?

I have 5 120mm, 2 90mm, 2 zalman vf-700's on my GPU's and a zalman 7700CU on my cpu (+ 120mm in my power supply). That makes a grand total of 11 fans in my case. I'm teaching it to hover.

As long as they actually cool the inside of your PC and you dont mind the noise, than that number of fans is totally fine. I have 4 80mm case fans, 1 120mm case fan, 2 80mm fans on my heatsink, 3 80mm fans on, and the stock AMD fan on my graphics card. So I have 11 fans just like Robilar. I've tested around with fans, took some out, put them back in and I really do see a difference in temps. The more the better for me, if thats the case with you then keep the fans. Plus you got a fan controller, so that'll help reduce noise when you need to sleep or whatever.

I very much agree with iNiMiTabLE, I think there's an FAQ on pressure around here somewhere that says equal and slightly positive pressure is best, but I practice a methond of overwhelming positive pressure (blows everything through and out of the case).

I would get a typhoon, then you can get rid of four or five of those fans, I have a typhoon with one case fan, my load temps are 42c.

thats odd
I only have one 120mm antec fan in my case and my cpu idles at about 33C.
Even with that fan, the PSU fan, and CPU fan, my rig is pretty lloud as it is in my bedroom. How loud are ur computers? Like when ur at your desk, are they obtrusive or just a quiet hum?
