I was told that if you flash the bios then I could use a higher frequency of ram. I believe up to 1066 instead of the usual 800. But when I try to go anything over a certain like 950mhz the bios doesnt save and it tries to restart but does not even load POST or anything. Just stays at a blank screen. Is it that I was lied to about the board supporting it? Cause my CPU runs at 1066 or what. And my ram is 1066. I made sure. my mobo is a asus p5ne sli

I bet that the PSU is having trouble coping with it.
