Tough decision second 22" lcd Sammy or Acer

Ok, I got my 22" Acer LCD about 3 weeks ago, and loved it. I hated my old sony 19"lcd sitting next to it, so I decided to get another 22" lcd. I was just about to order another 22" Acer, when it hit me, I have a friend who works at Best Buy and gets employe discount, so I called him. Turns out I could get the Samsung for cheaper. So I had to make a decision; Have matching 22" Acer's, or have one Sammy and one Acer. So being the smart guy that I am
I got the Sammy. They look really nice next to each other, and the sammy deff. has a sharper and more glossy picture, but the Acer seems warmer and brighter. Both have bleed thru at top and bottom of screen, not a problem for me barely noticeable. I can say for sure if I was to buy from scratch, I would only get the sammy if It was the same price or within $10.00. While it is a better screen, I don't think it is $50.00+ better.

I always buy from samsung, they just have down right quality product. My 22" sammy is ever so sexy, and SO clear and crisp.

I dont mind it next to my HDTV

What version of the 226BW did you get? A, C, or S? You can tell on the back of the monitor... it should have one of those letters next or near the model number.

Some have stated Samsung don't use that code on them anymore. With validity being there unit did not have the code.

On the slight variations between the two, it could nothing more than settings.

I picked my Samsung 226BW up from Circuity City two weeks ago. And on the back, it was listed as a 'C' panel. Other than a couple color adjustments in the monitor's menu, its a fantastic monitor out of the box.
the new 226bw is amazing.. you should have got the sammy
