Using 4th Generation Intel Core i7 4770K, ASUS Maximus 6 Impact and a steady flow of LN2, professional overclocker James "YoungPro" Trevaskis from TeamAU were able to push the factory spec G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 3000MHz C12 4GB stick to the world's fastest DDR3 4400MHz CL13.

Wow! I thought I was special when I picked up some 2400 mhz sticks the other day. This is amazing!

Still, one hell of a achievement! Makes me wonder how amazingly high clocked vendors are going to release DDR4 when it hits. Maybe even DDR4-4000Mhz sticks?

Just a shame my useless RipjawsX PSC chips won't even tighten a SINGLE TIMING without becoming unstable as hell...

Imagine how would an APU perform with that memory speed XD

The timing are high but how much effect does it have in real time performance? (just asking)
On an mITX board no less...

Wow, they sure did push that RAM to it's limits!

No, the pink foam blocks and blue/white are to protect the mobo from condensation and drips.
They just wrapped the entire board up in a towel since it's so small, lol. Quite the feat from an mitx board.
Just think one day DDRx RAM or something else on a PC may be that fast
