The good souls at MVKTech have released a new version of NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor), the popular BIOS tweaking utility for NVIDIA graphics cards. Version 4.9 brings with it a set of feature additions, expanded hardware compatibility and some minor bug fixes. The most significant feature addition is the ability to change voltages beyond the standard ranges. GeForce GTX 285 and GTX 295 are now supported. Minor bug fixes make for the rest of the mix.

?

You can only bois mod it so far. EVGA's tuner is at driver level, whereas this is at bios level.

If you want more volts than either allow you still have to voltmod it.

If you want to go past they very limited range of voltage offered in most card's BIOSes, you still need a hardware volt mod.

Also, NiBiTor has been around for years.

DLing now. Will try later on GTX 260's in Win7 x64. Previous version has worked fine for me in x64 OS.

I know NiBiTor has been around for years, but isn't this the first time you can change the voltage and you can only do it on the newer cards, right?

Evga's let's me set it to 2000mv isn't that high enough?

This is cool, but the range is so limiting on both Nvidia and AMD.

BTW, you guys can create a bin file from gpuz.
So anyone got a XFX GTX 260 216 55nm BIOS for me to mod?

Use your card in a XP machine to flash it. You will have no issues. Err double post......
