Silently or not, they should rather focus in making a real 3.5 SDD, it would have much more capacity and cost less GB vs GB to a 2.5.
While we're waiting for 3.5-inch solid-state drives to be released, OCZ has silently come up with a genious solution that might fix the "issue" forever. Sold for around $12, the OCZ Solid State Drive 3.5" adaptor bracket easily manages to fit current 2.5-inch SSDs and make them 3.5-inch compatible, for installment in standard hard drive bays. The bracket is aslo compatible with all 2.5-inch laptop hard drives. The OCZ adaptor bracket is already available in retail stores. For more information visit OCZ's website here.![]() |
