Yeah my old laptop had conked out for whatever reason haha, and now i have to get my files from old laptop to desktop.

Apparently i need a IDE adaptor or something; thats all i got before my old thread was deleted:swearing:

Oh and i submitted a complaint to the 'webmaster', this as happened twice now and its a pathetic excuse for administrators to prove that they have worth on here with regards to being paid, no offence

Here, if you need an IDE cable, then get the ribbon wire and plug it into your motherboard, hook up a power adapter and boot up your machine. If it asks for which OS, just do your main one and then you can load files off the lappy hdd.

I don't have much more to go on, so don't blame me if it didn't help.

(1) Yes it does. Most people saw your old thread.

(2) That's not helping anything. You're asking to get it deleted again lol.

I'll be interested in watching this thread develop as well.

I am not judging those other areas. This person asked for help, and I am helping the best that I can.
