Yes, if this drive is not going to be involved in your RAID array then simply connect it to a spare sata port, configure it in disk manager, copy your data to it.

Do your new setup, configure raid arrays etc power on and test.

Then connect this drive and copy the data back from it.

However, if you are talking about OS info and not just standard data then no!
