Ok guys.. treat me like a newb... i just got my pc running... what are some good apps for it... imma google cpu-z... i need something to control the fan... its throttled at 50%... but if i set it to 100% in BIOS the machine wont post... that is causing 40c while in bios... HELP!

EDIT: Question abotu the DFI LP UT NF3 BIOS.... the latest BIOS is 9-14 saying that it makes it possible for a Mobile/DTR post... i am using a DTR and it posts fine.... does that mean i have that mobo.... ive had the mobo from newegg for 3 weeks

EDIT: I just noticed another thing... i think i need the bios... my processor is running 200x4.... can i just change that in the BIOS or does somethign else need to be changed... do i need to update the bios... it was running insanely faster than my xp2200 so i didnt think anything was wrong

Thats the PowerNow crap I moaned about a while ago. If it won't let you change the multi in BIOS then get Crystal CPUID. It will let you change the multi in Windows, but on mine the multi is locked above 11...as in, I can go from 4-11.
