Tri-Sli question

This is more of a how would this work question... Currently I am using
the Silverstone Strider 1000w psu, im wondering how i would power the third ultra if i cam across one since i have already used all 4 of the pci connectors.. Or can i make use of the unused 6pin connectors?

you could use molex adapters that came with your video cards. The ones that plug into +12V connectors from the PSU and have a pcie connector on the other end. I have a sack full of them from all the video cards I have bought over the last couple years.

ah nice, ill have to see if i can find those...
i think i should be alright though with the 1000w
So how would I go about setting up the three ultras would I use a 6 pin connector from the psu or one of the 8 pin connectors?
You would use the 6-pin connectors from the PSU. If there isn't one available, then use an adapter with either the molex or 8-pin connectors.
I'm pretty sure you can't tri-sli 8800's...

i do have an 8 pin to dual six pin connector, so that would work even though ultras require two 6 pin connections from the psu

Why would you sell this??
Just get some adapters. The Strider can easily handle the load.
